Peanut Sauce
Perfect Peanut Sauce, Every Time
Lately, I’ve been loving Angela Liddon’s Oh She Glows series, and her third cookbook, Oh She Glows for Dinner, is quickly becoming a favorite. It’s packed with delicious, approachable recipes, and this peanut sauce has been a standout.
I’ve made similar peanut sauces in the past, but when trying to recreate them, my results were always a little hit-or-miss. Sometimes they’d be too thick, other times too salty or just not quite right. But this recipe? It’s foolproof! Every single time I’ve made it, it’s turned out perfectly—balanced, creamy, and absolutely delicious.
Whether you’re drizzling it over a bowl, using it as a dip, or tossing it with noodles, this peanut sauce is a game-changer. If you’re looking for a cookbook filled with recipes that consistently deliver, I can’t recommend Oh She Glows for Dinner enough.
Give this peanut sauce a try—you won’t be disappointed! ❤️🥜✨
Peanut Sauce
Special Note: Low-sodium Tamari and unsalted peanut butter are best for consistent results in this recipe.
Ingredients:
1 large fresh garlic clove, crushed though garlic press
1 tsp grated fresh ginger
3 - 4 tbsp water
6 tbsp smooth unsalted peanut butter
2 tbsp fresh squeezed lime juice
2 tbsp lite flavoured olive oil
1 tbsp low-sodium tamari
2 tsp, or to taste, maple syrup
1/2 tsp sriracha, or to taste
1/4 tsp kosher salt
Instructions:
Assemble all ingredients.
Process all ingredients in a food processor (a mini food processor works really well).
Taste and season to your preference.
Enjoy immediately or store in fridge and enjoy later.
If it gets too thick, simply add a touch of water to thin to your desired consistency.
