Sade - Promise

What can I say? If you don’t know who Sade is then you are - young! Sade is Romance!! SAde has the kind of voice that instantly puts you in a place or time - and puts you at ease. There’s something about the tone of her voice that cuts right through your body and goes straight to your soul.

This album is clean and intoxicating. In my youth, this would have been a go to ‘romantic mood’ setter. Now, as my hair has begun to lighten in colour, this is my husband’s and my ‘go-to’ sunrise album at the lake. As we enjoy an early morning coffee and stretch before hitting the calm lake to waterski, this is what we’re listening to. A beautiful way to the start the day. And really, also a beautiful way to end the night ;).
