Outlander Series Soundtrack Vol 1 and 2

I’m not certain that I would ever buy bagpipe heavy music but to start this post with this statement is doing a huge disservice to these albums. Outlander began as a book that I read, and loved, in the 1990’s, when there were only 3 books in the series. Decades later I found the story turned into a television series which my husband and I enjoyed watching on Netflix. And from the start, the opening had me hooked - the drama, the romance, the heart - The Skye Boat Song with it’s vocals, bagpipes and military drum rolls are romantically haunting. Another album I could listen to on repeat.

And them I opened these specific albums and discovered the most beautiful colored vinyl record pressings I have ever seen…

These albums are not to be missed. They are something special in every way.
